Optimizing function and esthetics in an adult patient with a complete crossbite

Abstract: This case report describes the treatment of a 32-year-old woman with anterior and bilateral posterior crossbite, skeletal Class II and dental Class III relationship, with the removal of widely decayed teeth. Treatment options included orthognathic surgery, rapid maxillary expansion (RME), and orthodontic treatment associated with implant and prosthesis.
