Optimized load balancing in high‐performance computing for big data analytics

Abstract: New generation application problems in big data and high-performance computing (HPC) areas claim very diverse operational properties. The convergence requires the dynamic behavior of system components. Load balancing is a critical issue in response to the highly unpredictable, dynamic, and data-oriented behavior of the system. Possible practical constraints such as communication and load transfer delays play an essential role in designing a dynamic load balancer. On the other hand, according to most of the new… Show more

“…As a result of this, considerable research has been directed toward high-performance computing and supercomputing techniques for Big Data [56]. In [57], Mirtaheri and Grandinetti discussed the importance of optimized load balancing in highperformance computing for Big Data analytics. The importance of load balancing and optimization for Big Data application was also identified by Kumar and Kumar Jha [58].…”

“…In static load balancing, the information is obtained in a prior state regarding the characteristics, computing nodes, and network. For dynamic load balancing, the efficacy of the processor is distinguished at the initial stage of the execution process [11,12]. Every service transaction is performed based on allocating and scheduling the resources.…”
