Optimization of electrocoagulation process for efficient removal of ciprofloxacin antibiotic using iron electrode; kinetic and isotherm studies of adsorption

Abstract: Background:The goal of this research was to measure the age-sex standardized prevalence of pre-diabetes (pre-DM) and diabetes (DM), and the effectiveness of diabetes management (using HbA1C as the indicator) in an urban area in Iran. Methods: Using a randomized cluster household survey, we recruited 5900 individuals whose age ranged from 15 to 75 from Kerman for assessing coronary artery disease risk factors (KERCADRS) including diabetes. In 2010 and 2011, all of the participants were interviewed by trained st… Show more

“…Together, these results indicate that Cr 6+ adsorption onto the modified ACFF is a complex chemical adsorption process. As the second-order kinetic model covered all the adsorption processes, this model could more fully reflect the dynamic mechanism of ion adsorption onto the composite electrode [ 36 ].

“…The central composite design (CCD) based on response surface method (RSM) was used to design the experiments for RB19 decolorization. It is an important branch of empirical design and basic tool in developing new processes, optimizing their performance and improving the design and formulation of new products [30,31]. RSM was also applied to investigate the individual effects of the process variables and their relationship or interactions to maximize the efficiency of RB19 decolorization as well as determine the optimal conditions.…”
