Optimization of Distributed Integrated Multi-energy System Considering Industrial Process Based on Energy Hub

Abstract: As a typical scenario of distributed integrated multi-energy system (DIMS), industrial park contains complex production constraints and strong associations between industrial productions and energy demands. The industrial production process (IPP) consists of controllable subtasks and strict timing constraints. Taking IPP as a control variable of optimal scheduling, it is an available approach that models the IPP as material flow into an extension energy hub (EH) to achieve the optimization of industrial park. … Show more

“…The topologies of the two subsystems are depicted in Figures 3 and 4. Three EHs were connected to electric buses 3,4,5,10,12,16,20,26, and 29 in the electrical system and the natural gas nodes 2, 8, 10, 13, 14, 19, 21, 31, and 40 in the natural gas system. The coupling relationship inside the IES is shown in Figure 5.…”

“…The modeling of the energy hub (EH) and its internal components is one of the key points in current research on day-ahead optimal energy flow. In [5], taking the industrial production process (IPP) as a control variable of optimal scheduling, a universal extension EH model was proposed. The results demonstrate that such a method reduces the operation cost.…”

“…Industrial parks have complex production constraints, and the types of energy required for different production links are also distinct. There is a corresponding coupling relationship between the industrial production process and the IES [31]. Power plants supply electricity, natural gas and heat energy to various types of loads, and the energy conversion process mostly involves the cascade utilization of heat [32].…”
