Optical and Transport Properties of PVP-Ch3cook Solid Polymer Electrolytes

Abstract: Solid polymer electrolyte films have been prepared with different wt% ratios of PVP-CH3COOK by solution cast technique. Optical absorption studies were performed in the wavelength region from 200 to 800 nm. The lowest energy bandgap value was found to be 3.25 eV for the composition 80PVP:20CH3COOK. The ionic conductivity of the prepared films increases with increasing wt% ratio of the salt in the PVP polymer.
