“…The UV/vis diffuse‐reflectance spectrum shows that the absorption of pure PVP in the range of 200–350 nm is due to electron transitions of unsaturated bonds, while there is almost no absorption in the long wavelength range of 400–800 nm, indicating that PVP has good optical transparency. [ 28 ] Heavy doping affects the transmittance of laser light (suggested to maintain a transmittance value of 0.44). Therefore, by comparing the membranes with different doping levels, the membranes with 2% doping (mass fraction) were selected in this study as having an overall optical transmittance of around 0.6–0.8.…”
