“…Bilateral retrobulbar neuritis can therefore be added to the list of varied ophthalmic presenting signs associated with lymphomas, including infectious conjunctivitis, uveitis, multiple evanescent white dot syndrome, acute retinal necrosis, and secondary glaucoma. 7,8 Chest radiography is not typically indicated for the management of cases of optic neuritis 9 ; however, as our case illustrates, the presence of abnormalities in the chest radiograph at presentation in patients with bilateral optic neuritis can raise the index of suspicion for an infectious, autoimmune, or malignant etiology and may facilitate early identification of such unusual presentations of NHL. 9,10 Literature Search MEDLINE (1949MEDLINE ( -2009), Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect were searched for the terms non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, lymphoma, optic neuritis, childhood lymphoma, and retrobulbar neuritis.…”
