Abstract: -Background -The laparoscopic adjustable gastric band is one of the most used techniques in Europe and Australia in the treatment of morbid obesity. It is safe procedure with very low mortality, but is not free of complications or failure, requiring reoperation in some cases. . Results -Mean operative time was three hours.
