Software requirement engineering uses different elicitation approaches from clients and other relevant stockholders communication. The elicitation techniques are used to elicit and analyse the requirement that is based on the presence of stakeholder availability. So, software products often fail to handle the demand of the stakeholder and users of the software. The requirement elicitation process gets complicated and labour-intensive when the traditional techniques are used with a larger population. This gives us the motivation to use a data-centred approach of Re engineering (RE) where requirements are elicited and collected on a larger scale. This study uses crowdsourcing integrated with the SCRUM approach of agile software development which is now popular in software development industries due to reducing cost and efficiency. Although it is important to identify the issues while integrating crowd source software development (CSSD) with SCRUM and resolve those issues. This study proposed a framework based on the integration of SCRUM with crowdsourcing development. The framework is designed in four major layers, the first layer is the vision and goal in which the raw document has been prepared, and the second layer is the prioritisation of task in which the product owner prioritised the task which should be developed first and which should develop later, the third layer is sprint planning and designing in which core document has been prepared and deliver it to the final project development, and the fourth layer is retrospective meeting in which all the development team and product owner and Scrum master conduct a meeting on a weekly basis to discuss the issues and changes that are made in the development process. This study suggested a conceptual framework that can combine CSSD and SCRUM to benefit from both software requirement development approaches and to address integration issues. The challenge for the researcher is to combine CSSD and SCRUM so that both software development methodologies can benefit from each other. Finally, issues are identified, and possible research directions are discussed for the future. During the last few years, there has been increasing attention paid to serious games (SGs), which are games used for non‐entertainment purposes. SGs offer the potential for more valid and reliable assessments compared to traditional methods such as paper‐and‐pencil tests. However, the incorporation of assessment features into SGs is still in its early stages, requiring specific design efforts for each game and adding significant time to the design of Game‐based Assessments (GBAs). In this research, we present a completely novel framework that aims to perform interoperable GBAs by: (a) integrating a common GBA ontology model to process RDF data; (b) developing in‐game metrics to infer useful information and assess learners; (c) integrating a service API to provide an easy way to interact with the framework. We then validate our approach through performance evaluation and two use cases, demonstrating its effectiveness in real‐world scenarios with large‐scale datasets. Our results show that the developed framework achieves excellent performance, replicating metrics from previous literature. We anticipate that our work will help alleviate current limitations in the field and facilitate the deployment of GBAs as a Service.

Sustainable software development, deployment, and usage will minimize the burden on the economy, environment, and technology along with having positive effects on human beings, and society. Green and Sustainable Software Engineering processes, principles, and practices provide the basis for sustainable software development. However, the continually increasing customer choices and requirements, environmental concerns, and competition among software development industries demand for the availability of reliable and complete sustainable software development approaches to develop lifelong sustainable software. This paper presents a sustainable software engineering framework, named as LAGSSE, by integrating the Agile, Lean and Green approaches. The framework is based on the “OntoSuSD” ontology to represent the diverse Agile, Lean and Green approaches for achieving the software sustainability dimensions, goals, and enablers. The proposed framework is validated using the Delphi method using the expert opinion scenario which has proved LAGSSE as an efficient framework for supporting sustainable software development. The LAGSSE framework is aimed to facilitate the software developers, academia, experts, and policy makers in the software industry, institutions, and government to make policies and develop sustainable software products according to their software sustainability goals and requirements.
