“…In China, sunset yellow and tartrazine are allowed to be added at a maximum limit of 0.1 g/kg in soft drinks (GB2760-2011), either individually or in combination. Until now, a variety of analytical methods have been developed for the determination of sunset yellow and tartrazine such as high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS) (Li et al 2015;Lorenzo et al 2015), fluorescence spectrometry (Pan et al 2011), spectrophotometry (Dinç et al 2002;Sahraei et al 2013), and electrochemical methods (Gan et al 2012;Ghoreishi et al 2012;Qiu et al 2016;Songyang et al 2015;Wang and Zhao 2015;Ye et al 2013).
