One-loop determinants for black holes in 4d gauged supergravity

Abstract: We continue the effort of defining and evaluating the quantum entropy function for supersymmetric black holes in 4d N = 2 gauged supergravity, initiated in [1]. The emphasis here is on the missing steps in the previous localization analysis, mainly dealing with one-loop determinants for abelian vector multiplets and hypermultiplets on the non-compact space H 2 × Σ g with particular boundary conditions. We use several different techniques to arrive at consistent results, which have a most direct bearing on the … Show more

“…One can also expect that all these results could follow from an equivariant localization in supergravity along the lines of [85,86]. The entropy functional (1.2) is indeed strongly suggesting an underlying fixed point formula.…”

“…In particular, it would be interesting to find the analog of standard results and conjectures about the quantum entropy of asymptotically flat back holes, like the OSV conjecture (Ooguri et al 2004), the Sen's quantum entropy functional (Sen 2009b, a) and localization in supergravity (Dabholkar et al 2011a(Dabholkar et al , 2013, 54 to cite only few of them. In particular, some interesting results about localization in AdS 2 Â S 2 have been already found in Hristov et al (2018Hristov et al ( , 2019c). -The topologically twisted index has been extended to five-dimensions (Hosseini et al 2018c;Crichigno et al 2018) and successfully compared with the entropy of AdS 6 black holes with horizon AdS 2 Â R g 1 Â R g 2 (Suh 2019a;Hosseini et al 2018a;Suh 2019bSuh , 2018Fluder et al 2019).…”

“…It is, therefore, natural to study if the logarithmic in N terms coming from the field theory partition functions are reproduced by one-loop supergravity around the black hole backgrounds. There have been some developments in matching the gravity computation to the coefficient of log(N ) term on the field theory side [20,[68][69][70][71][72][73][74]. In this section we compute the one-loop logarithmic corrections from the gravity side and confront them with the field-theoretic (UV) results.…”
