“…Other changes also have been noticed in the spectra of brass samples. [15][16][17] For instance, Muldawer 19 pointed out that different characteristics in the reflectance spectra of R-brass (30% Zn) and several β-brasses (Cu, Ag, and Au-Zn) were noticed: for example (i) the position of the border, (ii) the slope of the border, (iii) the difference in reflectivity intensity on either side of the border, and (iv) the depth of the minimum. With the exception of samples obtained with 5 s immersion time, Figure 2 shows that all these characteristics change to a different extent depending on the current applied and immersion time during zinc flash treatment.…”
