ON THE MIXING OF THE SCALAR MESONS f0(1370), f0(1500) AND f0(1710)

Abstract: Based on a 3 × 3 mass matrix describing the mixing of the scalar states f 0 (1370), f 0 (1500) and f 0 (1710), the hadronic decays of the three states are investigated. Taking into account the two possible assumptions concerning the mass level order of the bare states |N = |uū + dd / √ 2, |S = |ss andwe obtain the glueball-quarkonia content of the three states by solving the unlinear equations. Some predictions about the decays of the three states in two cases are presented, which can provide a stringent consi… Show more

“…(In Ref. [39] this is taken one step further and promoted to a glueball-glueball-glueball coupling followed by a mixing of η and η with the 0 −+ glueball [40].) The full coupling is H ⊃ (h 2,0 + 3h 3 )G(η 0 )…”

The full coupling is H ⊃ (h 2,0 + 3h 3 )G(η 0 ) 2 , but we will fix h 2,0 instead of fitting it, so h 3 is indeed a free parameter for us.…”

“…It has also been suggested as a scalar glueball candidate [3][4][5]. Furthermore, the scalar mesons f 0 (1370), f 0 (1500), and f 0 (1710) cannot be simultaneously accommodated in the quark model, thus they were widely investigated by different mixing schemes [6][7][8][9][10][11].…”
