Az éppen folyó "Iskola és társadalom 2017" kutatás módot ad rá, hogy teljesen friss adatokból rekonstruáljuk a fővárosi középiskolások attitűdjét idegenekkel szemben, és összevessük korábbi évek -2005, 2008 -hasonló korú középiskolásainak attitűdjével. Méréseink szerint az idegenekkel szembeni attitűdök összképe a korábbihoz hasonló. Az eltérések egyrészt az ellenérzés ritkulását mutatják, másrészt ez a változás eltérően érinti a különböző iskolatípusok tanulóit. Ezt a különbséget az iskolatípusok átszervezé-sével és tanulóik családi hátterének változásával próbáljuk magyarázni. Végül kísérletet teszünk a migránsokkal szembeni hangulatkeltés hatásának tettenérésére is, bár ez nem szerepelt a kutatási szempontok között.Kulcsszavak: etnikum, nemzetiség, attitűd, középiskolások, migránsok A current research project titled "School and Society, 2017" makes possible to explore secondary school students' attitude towards foreigners in Budapest and to compare it with the attitude of former students in 2005 and 2008. Th e general overview is similar than in former years. Smaller diff erences show less hostility which is present in diff erent measure in types of secondary schools. Diff erences can be explained by the transformations carried out in the relationships of the three types of secondary schools and by changes in the students' social background. Beyond the original research plan we try to explore the impact of political attempts to raise anti-migrant public opinion.Keywords: ethnic groups, nations, attitude, secondary school students, migrants A z ELTE TáTK Oktatás-és Ifj úságkutató Központja 1990 és 2010 között hatszor végzett politikai szocializációra irányuló adatfelvételt hetedikesek között 1 és ötször középiskolások között Budapesten. A szocializáció politikai dimenzió-jában kezdettől fontosnak tartottuk a másokkal szembeni tolerancia/intolerancia mérté-kének vizsgálatát. Erre 1998 óta használjuk a "padtárs-tesztet".
