Mobile terminal with Field-Programmable Gate Arrays, FPGA can achieve higher performance and lower power consumption while running many hardware module processing high computational loads in a dynamic reconfiguration fashion. We are developing a hardware-oriented game software library using High Level Synthesis, HLS, technology to achieve higher performance and lower power consumption for mobile terminals running power-consuming game applications. HLS is a technology that automatically converts a software program into a hardware description language. The game library using HLS is executed by high-speed and low power hardware on the FPGA in the mobile terminals instead of power-hungry software execution. In developing the HLS-oriented game software library, this paper develops a 2D character (Sprite) moving processing as one of those functions. In this paper, we show how to realize the HLS sprite moving function considering hardware configuration and HLS. In addition, we also evaluate the hardware module that HLS generated through the experiment.
