Okulöncesi̇ Öğretmen Adaylarinin Bi̇li̇msel Araştirmaya Bakişlari

Abstract

ÖZBu çalışmada, okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının "Bilimsel Araştırma Yöntemleri" dersine yönelik geliştirmiş oldukları projeler ve projelerine olan bakış açıları değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma grubu, Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi İlköğretim Okul Öncesi Öğretmenliği üçüncü sınıf öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. "Bilimsel Araştırma Yöntemleri" dersi Eğitim Fakültelerinde üçüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin güz döneminde [5. Yarıyıl] almış oldukları bir derstir. Çalışmada elde edilen veriler nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olan içerik analiz ile değerlendirilmiştir. Okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının geliştirmiş oldukları projelerinde elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yapılarak; temalar belirlenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının dönem boyunca derste aktif olmalarının yeni öğrenmeler açısından olumlu olduğunu ortaya çıkartmıştır. Dönem sonunda proje ile dersin değerlendirilmesinin derse olan bakışı ve ön yargıyı pozitif yönde etkilediği söylenebilir. Sonuçta, "Bilimsel Araştırma Yöntemleri" dersinin proje ödevi ile işlenmesinin okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarına olumlu katkılar sağladığı ortaya çıkmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Bilimsel Araştırma Yöntemleri, Okul Öncesi Öğretmen Adayları, Proje, Nitel Araştırma, Öğrenci THE VIEWS OF PROSPECTIVE PRESCHOOL TEACHERS ON SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ABSTRACTThis study evaluates the projects conducted by prospective preschool teachers in "Scientific Research Methods" course and their views on these projects. The study group consists of third year students, who study at the Department of Elementary Preschool Teaching in the Faculty of Education of Ondokuz Mayıs University. "Scientific Research Methods" is a course, which the third year students take in the fall semester (the 5th semester) in the Faculty of Education. The data retrieved in the study were evaluated via content analysis, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The findings obtained from the projects carried out by the prospective preschool teachers went through content analysis; themes were determined and interpreted. Furthermore, findings revealed that it positively affects prospective preschool teachers in terms of their new learning's when they are active in this course throughout the semester. The evaluation of the project and course at the end of the semester positively affect their views and prejudice towards the course. The results suggest that instructing "Scientific Research Methods" course through project based assignments positively contributes to the prospective preschool teachers.
