Oil wells hydrate formation regularities

Abstract: The paper considers the process of hydrate-paraffin deposits formation in oil wells. Due to the research with the author's specially designed laboratory equipment – an experimental installation containing a technological unit and an information-measuring system, the most favorable pressure-temperature conditions of hydrate formation in a wide range of pressure (0.1–120 MPa) and temperature (from –20 to +80 °C) were determined. The experimental results made it possible to determine the conditions required for h… Show more

“…However, there is no practical case with efficiency calculations. Work [10] examines in detail the complications that may arise in the plumes of production wells in the event of unfavorable combinations of temperature and pressure and a significant content of impurities in the production gas, which occur in deposits that are at the final stage of development. The given information proves the relevance of the issue of bringing the gas to the required condition.…”
