OH Diffusion in Fused Silica at Elevated Temperatures
Abstract: Pure silica rods with specific OH concentration profiles were produced and heated to 420 °C for five weeks. Changes in concentration profiles, which were expected on account of recent results of the indiffusion of OH from the surface, were not observed.
