Ocular manifestations in a community-based cohort of patients with inflammatory bowel disease

Abstract: Patients with IBD in the community frequently have dry eyes. This is associated with 5-ASA use, particularly doses >3 g per day. Whether this is a surrogate marker of disease severity is unclear.
