Ocular Hypertension and Glaucoma after Traumatic Angle Recession: A Case Series

Abstract: Ocular hypertension and glaucoma can occur after blunt trauma to the eye. Careful gonioscopic examination of the anterior chamber angle will reveal angle recession with widened ciliary body. We describe three cases of blunt trauma to the eye resulting in raised intraocular pressure (IOP)with and without damage to the optic disc.
