Observation ofD0D¯0Mixing inet al.

Abstract: We observe D(0)-D(0) mixing in the decay D(0) → K+π- using a data sample of integrated luminosity 976 fb(-1) collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- asymmetric-energy collider. We measure the mixing parameters x'(2) = (0.09 ± 0.22) × 10(-3) and y'=(4.6 ± 3.4) × 10(-3) and the ratio of doubly Cabibbo-suppressed to Cabibbo-favored decay rates R(D) = (3.53 ± 0.13) × 10(-3), where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic combined. Our measurement excludes the no-mixing hypothesis at the 5.1 stan… Show more

“…192 and 193, respectively. The D 0 → K + π − measurements used are from Belle [1052,1053], BABAR [1035], CDF [1054], and more recently LHCb [1037,1055]; earlier measurements have much less precision and are not used. The observables from D 0 → K 0 S π + π − decays are measured in two ways: assuming CP conservation (D 0 and D 0 decays combined), and allowing for CP violation (D 0 and D 0 decays fitted separately).…”

“…All input measurements are listed in Tables 216-218. The observable R M = (x 2 + y 2 )/2 is calculated from D 0 → K + − ν decays [743][744][745][746] [748,749], BABAR [734], CDF [750], and LHCb [736]; earlier measurements have much less precision and are not used.
