Abstract:Resumo: A proporção de óbitos por causas mal definidas (CMD) é indicador de qualidade da informação sobre a causas básicas, indicativo da dificuldade de acesso a serviços de saúde pela população e pelos profissionais de saúde para elucidação do diagnóstico.
