O processo de governança na política de Regionalização do Turismo de Minas Gerais: uma análise do Circuito Turístico Caminho Novo

Abstract

<jats:p>A governança, como um modelo de gestão participativo, democrático e inclusivo, tornou-se, nas últimas décadas, um conceito amplamente difundido, sendo aplicado, também, ao contexto turístico como uma gestão responsável e inovadora. Neste contexto, este artigo tem como objetivo compreender o processo de governança na política de regionalização do turismo de Minas Gerais, tomando como foco o Circuito Turístico Caminho Novo (CTCN). Essa pesquisa partiu de uma abordagem qualitativa, abrangendo pesquisa bibliográfica e documental; e, entrevistas com representantes do referido circuito turístico. De acordo com os resultados, pode-se observar que o processo de governança proposto não se efetiva integralmente no âmbito do CTCN, sendo que somente algumas características da governança turística foram identificadas.</jats:p>
