Abstract

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-layout-grid-align: none;"><span style="font-family: Times-Roman; font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Times-Roman; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;" lang="EN-US">The </span><em><span style="font-family: Times-Italic; font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Times-Italic; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;" lang="EN-US">Carmen Sacrum </span></em><span style="font-family: Times-Roman; font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Times-Roman; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;" lang="EN-US">of Proba, a Roman aristocrat christianized in the fourth</span>century, intends to evangelize, according to the concepts of orthodox soteriology, and is also based on metric juxtapositions of fragments from the works of Virgil.
