O acesso para cadeirantes em academias de ginástica: um estudo realizado na Zona Oeste do Rio de Janeiro

Abstract: O objetivo foi identificar o grau de acessibilidade em academias de ginástica, localizadas na Zona Oeste da cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Para tanto, 15 academias foram observadas. Com os dados coletados estandardizados foi possível perceber que o grau satisfatório de acessibilidade não foi encontrado em nenhuma academia, pois somente 4 academias têm banheiros adaptados, 3 com rota acessível, 2 com rampas de acesso e 1 com elevador com painel em braile.
