Nutrition in Pediatric Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation: A Narrative Review

Abstract: Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support is increasingly utilized in quaternary pediatric intensive care units. Metabolic derangements and altered nutritional requirements are common in critically ill children supported on ECMO.
