Zusammenfassung
Das Konzept des russischen Angriffskrieges gegen die Ukraine hängt von dessen Semantisierung durch unterschiedliche politische, gesellschaftliche und kulturelle Systeme ab, die ein spezifisches Geschichtsbewusstsein konstituieren. Dadurch erscheint der ‚Krieg‘ als ein relationaler Begriff. In diesem Aufsatz soll aufgezeigt werden, inwieweit das kollektive GULAG-Trauma und der Antiamerikanismus die Semantik des russischen Angriffskrieges gegen die Ukraine beeinflussen. Die Pejorisierung und Dämonisierung des ukrainischen politischen Systems als Nazi-Regime umfasst zahlreiche anti-amerikanische Konnotationen, sodass das semantische Feld nicht nur aus dem Zweiten, sondern vornehmlich aus dem Kalten Krieg generiert wird. Hinzu kommen scheinbar disparate Elemente aus der Gefängniskultur und der politischen Doktrin des Russkij Mir. Diese werden in letzter Zeit durch antisemitische Verschwörungsmythen ergänzt, die etwa für die Sprache der Neuen Rechten typisch sind. Die Alltäglichkeit des GULAG-Vokabulars, insbesondere in Bezug auf sexualisierte Gewalt, zeigt die langfristigen Auswirkungen des Stalinismus auf die russische Gesellschaft.
