The most potent compound 53 showed much higher antiviral activity against Enterovirus 71 (EV71) (EC 50 : 2.0 ± 0.7 µg/mL), Coxsackievirus B5 (CVB5) (EC 50 : 5.4 ± 0.9 µg/mL), Adenovirus type 7 (ADV7) (EC 50 : 10.8 ± 1.0 µg/mL) as compared to ribavirin (EC 50 : 49.2 ± 5.8, 22.3 ± 3.3, 27.8 ± 3.8 µg/mL, respectively).…”
