Not all CSR initiatives are created equally: the theoretical implications

Abstract: Purpose The purpose of this conceptual paper is twofold: to investigate the nature of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and to discuss the effects that several factors have on CSR outcomes by drawing on concepts from organization theory.
