“…So far, there are more than 2500 serovars of Salmonella , among which Salmonella Enteritidis (SE) and Salmonella Typhimurium (ST) are the most important serovars causing gastroenteritis (Jazeela et al, 2020; Maiti et al, 2021). Salmonella was associated with outbreaks of diseases linked to contaminated chicken, beef, pork, milk, eggs, shellfish, and many other foods due to its significant food reservoir (Guerrero et al, 2022).
