Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD): The Search for a Cure

Abstract: An alarming rise of obesity and, along with it, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), has been observed in the USA and the rest of the world. NAFLD, the most common cause of chronic liver disease in many developed countries, is not always a benign disorder and considering its growing nature, will have a serious impact on healthcare systems worldwide.
