Aunque ya se han propuesto métodos alternativos para obtener monocristales de LiNbO 3 en la composición estequiomé-trica (7,8,9), todavía el control de esta estequiometría en monocristales no se ha resuelto totalmente, por lo que en este trabajo se presenta un panorama general de los estudios realizados en soluciones sólidas de monocristales, por diferentes técnicas.
