Diagnosis may be delayed based on standard serum creatinine, and subclinical forms of kidney damage may not be detected at all. In our study we investigate the clinical use in these directions of a “damage” type biomarker - Neutrophil Gelatinase-Associated Lipocalin (NGAL).
