“…Recently, the barium lanthanum titanate niobate Ba 6-1.5x La x Ti 2 Nb 8 O 30 (BLTN) ceramics with tungsten bronze structure is reported as a promising candidate as lead-free electro-optical materials [6]. Noticeably, the BLTN ceramics has a lower dielectric constant, it is about the 1/5 ~1/10 of that of the lead-based EO materials, which could reduce the optical device capacity and further promote its response speed [7]. However, the electro-optic performance of the BLTN ceramics is rarely reported.…”

“…In this study, lead-free Ba 6-1.5x La x Ti 2 Nb 8 O 30 (0≤x≤7%) ceramics are prepared by the conventional solid state reaction sintering method. Because of the narrow sintering temperature range of the BLTN ceramics [10][11][12], the appropriate sintering temperature and heating process were applied in order to get the pure tungsten bronze structure. Effects of lanthanum doped content on the microstructure and electrical properties of BLTN ceramics were investigated and discussed.…”
