Pewarnaan pes pateri membuka suatu ruang kepada keperluan dalam teknologi untuk proses pengenalpastian, penandaan, piawaian, pengujian dan penilaian terhadap antarasambungan pes pateri. Dua jenis pigmen pewarna iaitu hijau (G) dan bercahaya dalam gelap (GD) digunakan untuk mengkaji kesan pewarnaan sambungan pateri ke atas kestabilan antarasambungan pateri Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu (SAC 305). Pes pateri tanpa warna digunakan sebagai sampel kawalan untuk membandingkan keputusan kajian. Uji kaji penuaan sesuhu digunakan untuk melihat perubahan pertumbuhan sebatian antara logam (IMC). Pigmen pewarna GD dengan peratusan sebanyak 5% telah menunjukkan kestabilan pertumbuhan IMC dengan perubahan pertumbuhan yang paling rendah iaitu sebanyak 5.6 µm bagi sambungan pateri yang berwarna berbanding dengan peratusan pigmen pewarna yang lebih tinggi dengan perubahan pertumbuhan IMC sehingga 9 µm selepas didedahkan kepada penuaan sesuhu pada 150°C selama 1000 jam. Walau bagaimanapun, kestabilan pertumbuhan IMC dengan penggunaan pes pateri berwarna adalah lebih rendah berbanding dengan pes pateri tidak berwarna. Maka penambahan pigmen pewarna hendaklah dipertimbangkan dengan mengambil kira kestabilan mikrostruktur dan pertumbuhan lapisan IMC supaya tidak menjejaskan kualiti dan kebolehharapan sesuatu sambungan pateri.

The C@ZrSiO4 pigments offer a viable alternative to spinel black pigments, but they have poor tinting strength due to low encapsulation rate. The aggregate and irregular morphology limits their application. Herein, as a three‐in‐one solution for the above issues, we report a highly dispersed submicronic inclusion black pigment with deep dark hue by double‐shell reaction sintering method for the first time. The morphological advantage of spherical CSs (carbon spheres) @ZrSiO4 pigments has successfully stimulated a significant increase in chromatic performance with L* value of 13.58. In addition, the suspension stability of the pigments in solution was verified, and the effect of the order of double shell on the encapsulation efficiency was studied.

ALnO 3 (A = Ca, Sr, Ba; Ln = Ce, Pr, Tb) were synthesized as environmentally friendly inorganic yellow pigments by a conventional solid state reaction. SrCeO 3 , BaCeO 3 , BaPrO 3 , SrTbO 3 and BaTbO 3 were obtained in a single phase form. Among them, the color of SrTbO 3 and BaTbO 3 were bright yellow, because of the strong optical absorption in the blue light region. The yellowness values of SrTbO 3 and BaTbO 3 expressed in a color coordinate were comparable to those of praseodymium yellow (ZrSiO 4 :Pr) and bismuth vanadate (BiVO 4 ), respectively. Furthermore, the yellow color of SrTbO 3 is more greenish than that of ZrSiO 4 :Pr, and BaTbO 3 showed a purer yellow color as compared with BiVO 4 .
