“…This family is widely distributed in Brazil, with 46 species and four genera known: Coniopteryx, Neoconis Enderlein, 1930, Semidalis Enderlein, 1905, and Incasemidalis Meinander, 1972; the latter genus was only recently reported from Brazil by Martins and Amorim (2016), which demonstrates the poor knowledge of this family in the country. The least abundant family in our study was Dilaridae, which is a rare group of insects in entomological collections and biologically little-known, especially the adults (Lara and Perioto 2017). The family is represented by four genera worldwide, but Nallachius is the only genus occurring in Brazil and distributed in all regional divisions of the country, with 11 species known (Machado and Rafael 2010b).…”
