Se revisaron 1148 ejemplares del orden Ephemeroptera depositados en la Colección Limnológica del Chocó (CLCH), que abarcan 21 municipios (entre 5 y 3202 m s.n.m.), en 71 corrientes hídricas de diferente orden y 12 ecosistemas lénticos en las cuencas de los ríos Atrato, San Juan y Baudó. Se reportan siete familias y 25 géneros, de los cuales Ecuaphlebia, Ulmeritoides, Asthenopus, Mayobaetis y Choroterpes son registrados por primera vez para el Chocó. La familia Baetidae es la de mayor abundancia y la de más amplia distribución, mientras que Oligoneuriidae es la menos representativa. La mayor riqueza taxonómica la registran las familias Leptophlebiidae (9 géneros) y Baetidae (7 géneros). Thraulodes, Baetodes y Terpides son los géneros con mayor distribución altitudinal, y mayor riqueza específica se presenta en el sustrato piedra con 23 géneros. La cuenca del río Atrato presenta el mayor registro taxonómico. Los datos que se presentan es este estudio ponen en evidencia la gran diversidad del orden Ephemeroptera en el departamento del Chocó y la necesidad de adelantar nuevas investigaciones que amplíen el conocimiento de su riqueza y distribución en la región.

Homoeoneuria Eaton, 1881 is a genus of the Oligoneuriidae family whose geographical distribution remains poorly documented, especially in the Northern region of South America. Here we confirm the record of Homoeoneuria inColombia, thus extending its distribution in South America beyond the records from Brazil, Peru, and Argentina. The confirmation was done on three nymphs from the department of Cesar found on sandy-silt sediments in the transition between the Andean and Caribbean regions.

In the Neotropical region, especially South America, Leptophlebiidae achieves its higher diversity, with 45 genera and almost 250 species. In Colombia, the diversity about this family is underestimated, with only 22 species reported so far. In order to contribute to the current knowledge of the Leptophlebiidae in Colombia we examined the adults of this family deposited at the Colección Entomológica del Programa de Biología, Universidad de Caldas. In addition to the historical records herein presented, nine species are registered for the first time from the country (Farrodes savagei, F. tepui, F. xingu, Hagenulopsis minuta, Terpides contamanensis, T. echinovaris, T. ornatodermis, Tikuna atramentum, and Ulmeritoides flavopedes). Besides that, additional records are presented for 12 species of the following genera: Askola, Farrodes, Simothraulopsis, Tikuna, Ulmeritoides, Hydrosmilodon, Terpides, Choroterpes, Paramaka, and Hagenulopsis. With these additional and new records, we update the list of Leptophlebiidae from Colombia to 33 species and 14 genera.
