New physics effects inBK(*)ννdecays

Abstract: We present a model-independent analysis of exclusive rare B decays, B→K ( * ) . The effect of possible new physics is written in terms of dimension-6 four-Fermi interactions. The lepton number violating scalarand tensor-type interactions are included, and they induce B→K ( * ) ( ) decays. We show systematically how the branching ratios and missing mass-squared spectrum depend on the coefficients of the four-Fermi interactions. ͓S0556-2821͑99͒00421-X͔ PACS number͑s͒: 13.20.He †

“…Acetylcholinesterase inhibition activities have been reported previously for tested compounds, isoimperatorin (1), xanthyletin (4), 7-demethylsuberosin (8), and scopoletin (13). [33][34][35] As shown in Table 1, bergapten (3) exhibited a potent acetylcholinesterase inhibition activity with an IC 50 value of 1.4 μM. Phellopterin (2) and cnidin (5) showed moderate acetylcholinesterase inhibition activity with IC 50 values of 4.0 and 6.3 μM, respectively.…”

“…The thermal conductivity and the electrical resistivity of ablated plasma are obtained from a nonideal plasma model which can reproduce the metal-insulator transition observed in experiments of low temperature and high density plasmas [10]. In this nonideal plasma model, we make a simple modification to classical formulations by applying a corrected shielding distance so that the ion-electron momentum transfer cross section can have reasonably accurate values in dense plasmas where the classical definition of Coulomb logarithm is not valid anymore because the Debye length becomes smaller than the inter-ionic distances.…”

“…In [15] the effects of scalar and tensor interactions have been discussed, with par-ticular attention to the distortion of the q 2 spectra (with q 2 the dilepton squared four-momentum) with respect to SM. The role of new right-handed operators has also been discussed [6], and the possibility of non-standard Z couplings to b and s quarks has been considered [16].…”
