Abstract: Human Guanine Monophosphate Synthetase (hGMPS) converts XMP to GMP, and acts as a bifunctional enzyme with N-terminal "glutaminase" (GAT) and C-terminal "synthetase" domain. The enzyme is identified as a potential target for anti-cancer and immunosuppressive therapies.
