The simulation of energy conversion in the branches of a thermoelectric cooler is carried out. The influence of various distributions of the active impurity along the branch of the thermoelement on its efficiency in the mode of maximum temperature drop is considered. The calculation is carried out within the framework of a two-band standard model of the band structure of a semiconductor for non-degenerate charge carriers.
