From these studies, the influence parameters that meet one of the following criteria were identified and a preliminary grade (qualitative assessment) was assigned accordingly.…”

“…A first part (in orange), which includes a description of the studied autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system and of its different evaluation criterions to propose a synthesis of the most relevant test scenarios with the operating parameters of each scenario. A second part (in blue) that deals with the FOT database (SPMD), the implementation of a new sampling strategy (more detailed in our other article [4]) based on Metropolis‐Hastings algorithm and at the end of this part, the implementation of virtual tests on a vehicular software simulator (PreScan). The third part (in green) focuses on collecting of simulation results, then assess the risk of each test, to classify them, and this allows us to recuperate high risk and very high‐risk cases to build a set of worst‐case scenarios.…”

“…This study is based on our proposed sampling strategy in [4]. An appropriate sampling strategy is based on MCMC methods, using Metropolis‐Hastings algorithm to generate samples from probability distributions of FOT; the SPMD in our case.…”
