New data about the Costa Rican aphid fauna (Hemiptera, Aphididae)

Abstract: Aphids were collected from 39 locations throughout Costa Rica, representing a wide altitudinal range, and from both crops and native plants. In total, 48 species of aphids were identified, associated with 62 families and 111 species of plants, many of these representing new host plant records.
