New code with non-zero cross correlation for spectral amplitude coding optical code-division multiple-access systems

Abstract: This paper presented the novel of a new class of code with Non-Zero Cross-Correlation for SpectralAmplitude Coding in Optical Code Division Multiple Access (OCDMA) systems. A new code namely Modified NonZero Cross Correlation Code (MNZCC). MNZCC code can be constructed easily for a given number of users K, weights and for a given cross correlation (Ȝmax). The proposed code was demonstrated in simulation using OptiSys. 6.0 to observe the system performance. The results shown, that, the proposed code has superio… Show more

“…The challenges that can see in OCDMA system are improved cardinality, suppress phase induced intensity noise PIIN, and mitigate multiple access interference MAI [2]. However a proper design of 2-D OCDMA could result in auto-correlation with minimum or zero side lobe and cross-correlation small than 1-D OCMA [3].…”
