Am augenfalligsten zeigte sich dies beim T r i -a -t h i e n y… Show more

“…The work of Kharasch (185,187,188,189,190) on organomercury compounds is particularly well known. Other investigations have involved organotin (19,29) or organolead (9, 11, 12, 132, 135, 182) compounds, and sometimes different cleaving reagents (8,141,175,182,218,219,221,222,223,224). Some of the results obtained with lead compounds are discussed here.…”

“…65,104,211,377,403,489,552,703,704]. It is formed by high temperature reactions 'of silicon with sulfur [189,326,332,378,470,571,582,595,596,644,693]; silicon with hydrogen sulfide [595,596,597,685]; silicates and Si0 2 with CS 2 [326,327,[334][335][336][337]450, 685], sulfur [708], and a mixture of S2Cl2 with chlorine [191]; Si0 2 with hydrogen sulfide in the presence of charcoal [685]; lithium, calcium, copper, magnesium, and iron sUicides with sulfur [188,244,489,506,507]; SiO with S02 [736]; and sulfides of iron [141,293,576,738] and aluminum [192,193,420,421,423,636,642,[685][686]…”

“…A second general method of synthesizing organosilicon sulfurcontaining heterocyclic compounds is the reaction of organomagnesium derivatives of sulfur-containing heterocycles with halosilanes or alkoxysilanes: (2.274) This reaction is used to obtain 2-and 3-thienylsilanes [51,120,185,218,219,268,342,423,599 [486,670]. By this method it is possible to synthesize from 2,5dibromothiophene both monosilicon-substituted thiophenes [51,185] and 2,5-disilicon-substituted thiophenes [91,120].…”
