Abstract:Thousands of patients with renal disease are on waiting lists for kidney transplant. Survival and quality of life on hemodialysis are much lower than that after renal transplantation. Renal allografts are extremely valuable and worth saving at all costs. Many complications can be seen after organ transplants on short and long term as rejection, vascular compromise, and infection.
