Neofascismo como objeto de estudo: contribuições e caminhos para elucidar este fenômeno

Abstract

Este estudo tem como objetivo identificar os/as pesquisadores/as brasileiros/as que estão tomando o ‘neofascismo’ como objeto de estudo, analisando em que disciplinas ancoram suas análises e quais contribuições eles têm feito para apontar caminhos na elucidação deste fenômeno. Logo, foi realizado um mapeamento, de abordagem qualitativa, descritivo-exploratória sobre o tema ‘neofascismo’ no Currículo Lattes de pesquisadores doutores que se dedicam sobre o tema no Brasil. Usou-se a palavra-chave ‘neofascismo’ no campo principal da ‘busca simples’, cujo modo de busca utilizado foi ‘assunto (título ou palavra-chave na produção)’. Identificou-se que, dos 100% (21) dos pesquisadores encontrados, 71,5% (15) são homens, e, dos 100% (108) das citações do termo ‘neofascismo’, 34,5% (37) concentram-se em uma única pesquisadora. A área de História Geral ou Especializada é a principal disciplina de ancoragem. As produções científicas sobre o neofascismo puderam ser divididas em quatro blocos: “os trabalhos que procuram uma delimitação da categoria neofascismo”; “os que historicizam o uso da categoria neofascismo”; “os que aplicam o neofascismo a uma conjuntura doméstica” e “os que identificam/descrevem grupos e práticas neofascistizantes”. Por fim, são delimitadas as diferenças entre as ‘práticas conservadoras’ das ‘práticas neofascistizantes’ e são identificadas algumas características da retórica neofascista.

On the contrary, they use formal democratic procedures, such as electoral processes, to secure their political actions at the State level (Carnut, 2020). However, when they reach State power 7 , they end up governing, very often, through authoritarian mechanisms, which legally depend on the domestic situation.…”

“…Considering the thought of Pachukanis (2017), in which the commodity-form, guided by the increase of value, brings together its derived forms (state form and legal form) is that it was decided to understand the capitalist crisis as the first form that overlaps the others, thus weakening the right to health (Mendes & Carnut, 2018, 1 The neo-fascism category is used to encompass the dimensions of adaptability, hybridity and mutability of the fascist phenomenon over the course of a century of history, allowing one to apprehend the new forms and contents of fascism in the 21st century (Mattos, 2020). Carnut (2020) when gathering the set of social actions that are configured as "neo-fascist practices" warns that only their "amalgam" in the social environment can be considered an indication of neo-fascism. According to the author, among many, the following stand out: anti-democratic social attitudes in discourse/practice even if democracy is not denied as a procedure; the use of a charismatic-populist figure/leadership; readaptations or reinterpretations of traditional fascist policies to new circumstances; the use of violence (symbolic/psychological/physical); the social expression, through an authoritarian and discriminatory view of the world, of legitimate dissatisfaction that attracts supporters; the political conduct by the executive of a kind of "pro-imperialist nationalism"; the radicalization of the exploitation of human resources (through atomizing managerialism) and of natural resources (considered as "ecological nonsense"), etc.…”
