“…Dado o perfil sociodemográfico dos participantes, vale destacar que, no Brasil, há um processo de aumento marcante de integrantes do sexo feminino na profissão médica com 45,6% do total de médicos já formados em 2017 assim como em outros países como Portugal, Reino Unido, Espanha e Holanda (Scheffer et al, 2018;Oliven & Bello, 2017). Quanto à raça/cor, apesar de mais da metade da população brasileira ser formada por pretos e pardos, as universidades, principalmente as públicas, sempre foram um reduto quase exclusivamente de brancos, especialmente nos cursos de Medicina, Engenharia e Direito (Oliven & Bello, 2017), o que evidencia, possivelmente, condições desiguais de acesso à universidade.
