Negotiable bodies: employer perceptions of visible body modifications

Abstract: This study investigates the relationship between tourism and hospitality manager's perceptions of visible body modification (VBM) and recruitment and operational practices. It examines how managers evaluate, recruit and manage the appearance of employees with VBM.
