In this study, an attempt has been made to examine factors affecting the success of various types of tourism business in Thailand. A total of 100 copies of the questionnaires were given to operators and managers engaged in tourist businesses in Thailand. These respondents were chosen by Proportionate Random Sampling-a method that ensures an unbiased cross-section from every section of society. The statistical methods used in data analysis include percentage calculation ; determining a mean value for all readings ; assessing standard deviation; analysing frequencies and multiple regression analysis. Entrepreneurs in Thailand's tourism industry have indicated that for the success of their operations marketing strategy, personnel competency, and business partnerships are the most important factors. When the study carried out the hypothesis tests it showed that price, place, and product (the 4Ps of marketing mix) location, and physical surroundings on one hand skills of human resource management to bring employees together while business partnership are positively correlated with success in operating a tourism business statistically.

Objective: Competence is an individual's ability to do a job adequately and appropriately. Competence is needed in the field of work. Future vehicles are currently heading towards electric-based vehicles. Therefore, graduates who have competence, especially in electricity, are needed. Valid and accurate measuring instruments are needed to determine a person's competence. Therefore, in this study, instruments were developed to measure student competence in automotive electricity. Method: The research method used is a development study using a 4D model consisting of four phases: Defining, Designing, Developing, and Disseminating. The finished instrument is validated and tested to see its validity and reliability. Results: This study obtained automotive electrical competency instruments in 3 instruments, namely to measure knowledge, skills, and attitudes. There is 1 question item that must be dropped because the CVR value and correlation test items are below 0.3, and the outfit and infit values are above 2. No question items are dropped for instruments, indicators, attitudes, and skills. All automotive electrical competency instruments produce reliable instruments. Novelty: a unique instrument that focuses on automotive electrical competence. This approach includes knowledge, skills, and attitudes towards technological developments.

In the context of current and upcoming reforms of higher education, there are acute issues of target orientation of new educational programs under the orders of external stakeholders (state, region, employers, students, and their families, etc.), as well as their promotion for subsequent implementation to obtain the target result, ensure employment of graduates, satisfy customer requests. The purpose of the study is to present a case of effective promoting a new type of higher education programs, which involve vertical school-university integration, to formulate recommendations for their promotion, and to evaluate the results of recruitment. The following research methods are used: analytical and comparative, analysis of documents, labor market segments review, marketing promotion plan formation, key performance indicators analysis etc.The case analysis shows that in the context of competition for applicants, the use of activity-based tools for promoting educational programs, which imply immersion in practice-oriented learning from school (for instance, involving schoolchildren in university projects), as well as other forms of active marketing can give better results than traditional approaches.
