“…The DL-EPR method has been widely used to quantitatively examine DOS and IGC susceptibility in stainless steels. [30][31][32][33] Overall, the study shows that using TRDs as an effective and useful microstructural GB network descriptor provide enhanced insight into individual GB and GB network IGC phenomena in GBE stainless steel.…”

“…The DL-EPR test were also performed to obtain a bulk measure of the DOS between the 316L SA and GBE conditions. The procedures followed for the DL-EPR tests were similar to those followed by Srinivasan et al 30 Sensitized samples as described above were surface polished to a 1 µm diamond surface finish before testing and cleaned ultrasonically. A deaerated 0.5 M H 2 SO 4 + 0.01 M Potassium thiocyanate (KSCN) solution at room temperature was used as the test electrolyte for the DL-EPR tests.…”

“…Морфология и распределение карбидов в грани цах зерен считаются важными факторами, влия ющими на область обеднения хрома и, следова тельно, стойкость к МКК. Показано, что межзе ренная коррозия, наблюдаемая в результате про никновения под поверхность зернограничной ми кроструктуры, тесно связана с кристаллографиче ским характером и энергией границ зерен [39][40][41][42][43][44][45][46].…”

“…Note that GBs have been classified based on their misorientation, namely the difference in crystallographic orientation between adjacent two grains, and the  value based on the coincidence site lattice (CSL) model [16]. Srinivasan et al [17] and Qi et al [18] discussed the relationship between IGC susceptibility and microstructural features such as grain size, GB structure, and microscopic plastic strain. An et al [19] investigated the relationship between IGC behavior and GB structure measured by 3D-orientation microscopy consisting of EBSD and serial sectioning techniques, and classified the GB structure into GBs with high and low IGC resistance based on the GB structure.…”
